Jakarta, (13/12). The Islamic banking research forum is established and endorsed by the Director of Islamic banking Directorate of Bank Indonesia, Mulya Effendi Siregar during the discussion of Islamic banking research forum at Muhammadiyah university Yogyakarta.
The Pro-term community Agustianto and Masyhudi said that this research forum is expected have a regular and continuance activities in line with the development of Islamic banking system in Indonesia.
“This research Forum is a media for interaction between scholars and a media of appreciation and exchange idea and testing for concept, opinion which will be implemented in order to develop our Islamic banking system, said Agustianto.
Moreover Agustianto said that our national banking system is well, strong and consistent in applying the shariah principles which full with innovative and fresh idea that is constructive and applicable, based on study and academic research. Therefore it is needed for Islamic banking forum to join force with Bank Indonesia, Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah (MES), Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam (IAEI), FoSEI and other university in Indonesia, periodically in Islamic banking system research program.
