INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Project-Based Publish government Rp355 Billion Sukuk

www.investor.co.id - JAKARTA - The government issued the sukuk or Islamic bonds based on the state of Rp355 billion project to meet part of the 2012 state budget target.

Written statement of the Directorate General of Debt Management, Ministry of Finance received here on Wednesday, said the government is auctioning four series of project-based sukuk country on Tuesday (27/3).

The fourth series is a series of sukuk country PBS001, PBS002, PBS003, and PBS004. The number of bids in the auction reached Rp2, 18 trillion won but the government only Rp355 billion from PBS004 series.

While the bids amounting to Rp108 billion PBS001 series, amounting to Rp483 billion PBS002 series and series of Rp801 billion PBS003, no one won. (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - BRI Syariah Sukri SR004 Rp50 Billion Sukuk Sale

www.investor.co.id - JAKARTA-Bank BRI Syariah sell retail sukuk series SR004 state of Rp 50 billion, according to the quota set by the government.

INDONESIA - AWARDS - CIMB Niaga Syariah Earn 3 award IBLI

www.investor.co.id - JAKARTA - Sharia PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk ranks first in three categories in the Indonesia Bank Loyalty Index (IBLI) 2012.

A press release from CIMB Niaga Syariah received here on Wednesday night, said the three categories are Customer Satisfaction Index (Customer Satisfaction Index), Customer Transaction Index (Index Customer Transaction), and Customer Partnership Index (Index Customer Partnership).

The assessment is based on the whole, CIMB Niaga Syariah category ranks third overall with a score of 2012 IBLI 72.7%, up from the achievements in 2011 which was in ninth position. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - BNI Syariah Assets Rose by Rp 1.27 trillion

JAKARTA - PT BNI Syariah increase asset value of Rp 1.27 trillion or 20.87 percent from Rp 6.09 trillion in September 2010 to Rp 7.36 trillion at the end of September 2011.

"The position of the end of September 2011 showed a positive performance, there is a much better performance compared to last year," said BNI Syariah President, Rizqullah testified in Jakarta on Thursday. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - Islamic Banking Must Dare to Go Real Sector

JAKARTA - The Islamic banking, should dare to go into the real sector so that its presence in Indonesia's economy became apparent.

INDONESIA - KUR - Target BRISyariah Financing Rp1, 2 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) until 16 September 2011 is already delivering the People's Business Credit (KUR) amounting to Rp12, 125 trillion (121.5%) by the number of debtors as many as 1,270,871 people.

INDONESIA - BANKING - ASBISINDO asks BI to promote Islamic banking

JAKARTA - Indonesian Sharia Bank Association (Asbisindo) has called on Bank Indonesia (BI) supports the promotion of Islamic financial products in order to be able to expand market penetration.

"If the campaign only handed over to Islamic banks whose size is three percent of the total market share of the national banking system, then the cost of promotion is also three per cent. INDONESIA - LEASING - Al Ijarah focus on retail

JAKARTA-PT Al-Ijarah Indonesia Finance (ALIF) until the end of this year will focus on retail business instead of financing the corporate sector, because the market is very promising.

President Director of PT ALIF, Herbudhi S Tomo here on Friday said the company originally did business financing to corporations, but the growth is far slower than the retail sector.

INDONESIA - BANKING - Sinarmas Syariah delays spin off

JAKARTA-business unit Sinarmas Tbk PT Bank Syariah postpone plans to separate business with the parent (spin off) until 2015 because of the constraints of human resources (HR) and technological systems.

"We really had planned spin off in 2012, but after re-evaluate the whole preparation, it turns out there are still many obstacles in terms of human resources and technology systems," said Director of Bank Syariah Sinarmas Heru Agus Wuryanto after signing a cooperation agreement with PT Al-Ijarah Indonesia Finance (Alif ) here on Thursday. INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Government ponders USD 1 billion Sukuk Q3, 2011

JAKARTA-The government plans to issue a global sukuk worth U.S. $ 1 billion in the third quarter of 2011.

INDONESIA - BANKING - Bukopin Syariah launches gold pawn service in 2012

JAKARTA - President Director of Bank Syariah Bukopin Riyanto said it will launch a new gold pawning service in 2012.

"Currently we do not have a mortgage product of gold, the plan will begin next year," said Riyanto, when the show opened with here on Monday.

According Riyanto, gold pawning product is still assessed on risk management.

He also admitted that his side with other Islamic banks which already have a mortgage product this gold. "Each bank has a different strategy, we prefer the strategy on SME financing," he said. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - Shariah Banks Doing Booming Business

The rapid expansion of Shariah banks in Indonesia paved the way for Shariah loans to increase by almost half in the first six months of the year, Investor Daily reported on Saturday, quoting a central bank director.

Mulya Siregar, director of Shariah banking at Bank Indonesia, said on Friday that Shariah loans rose 49 percent to Rp 83 trillion ($9.8 billion) through June, from the same period last year. He also said the Shariah financing-to-deposit ratio was at 95 percent.  (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - BI prepares cash for Ramadan and Idul Fitri : Rp 61.36 trillion

JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) estimates money demand during the fasting period of Ramadan and Lebaran in 2011 amounting to Rp61, 36 trillion, an increase of Rp 6, 57 trillion, about 12% over the previous year realization of the need for Rp54, 78 trillion.

BI Deputy Governor Ardhayadi Mitroatmodjo here on Thursday said to meet that need, then the Bank has prepared a national inventory of cash until the end of July for Rp123, 39 trillion, consisting of large denominations of money Rp106, 86 trillion and the money of small denominations Rp16, 53 trillion. INDONESIA - BANKING - Credit BTN up with 21.46 % - opening new Shariah branch offices

JAKARTA - PT Bank State Savings Limited (BTN) to record credit growth of 21.46 percent, from Rp 46.51 trillion in June 2010 to Rp 56.49 trillion in June 2011.

BTN president director Iqbal Latanro here on Wednesday said credit growth in the first half of 2011 affected the growth of non-housing loans so that the composition of mortgage and non mortgage to 10.5 percent and 89.5 percent. (source)
