"If agriculture, livestock and plantations would forward the development strategy should be changed. INDONESIA - HALAL - 80 Qurban Managements Received Technical Trainings

beritajakarta.com - Together with Indonesia Ulema Council (MUI) and Medicine Faculty of Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB), East Jakarta Livestock and Fishery Sub-Department gives technical trainings about how to slaughter cattle and handle qurban meat to 80 qurban managements from 40 mosques in East Jakarta. This activity is held in Agriculture Pusdiklat building at Kebon Singkong, Duren Sawit, Tuesday (10/25). INDONESIA - HALAL - Bogor hosts fair to increase Halal awareness in Indonesia

Living up to its reputation as the first halal city in Indonesia, Bogor is currently holding a Halal Fair aimed at promoting halal food produced in line with the specific guidelines outlined in Islamic law.

The three-day festival, which was launched yesterday (June 27) and runs till tomorrow, is participated by 55 small- and medium-scale enterprises. (source)
