INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Trade and Services Sector Shares Sharia Domination

www.pkesinteraktif.com - Jakarta (29/2) - Currently in stock sharia, trade, services, and investment is the most dominant sector. This was disclosed Head of Market Development Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Irwan Abdalloh to pkesinteraktif.com few days ago.

He said 237 shares of sharia, trade, services, and investment has its share of 28%. The rest was divided on agriculture, mining, various industrial, commercial goods industry, property, and infrastructure.

"As the number of stocks that move in this sector (trade, services, and investments) at most, then this sector is also the most demanding investors," he said. (source)

INDONESIA - EVENTS - Jakarta Association of Issuers AEI Members Benefit Financing the Sharia Push

CAPITAL MARKETS - Capitalization of sharia shares reach IDR1,368.9 trillion

JAKARTA: PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reported that a capitalization value of sharia-based capital market until October 15, 2010 reached IDR1,368.9 trillion or about 45% of the total market capitalization value at IDR3,042 trillion.
