INDONESIA - BANKING - Islamic banking assets in the KBI Jember reach up 57%

www.bisnis.com - SURABAYA: The growth of Islamic banking assets operating in the former District of Besuki in the second quarter of 2012 slowed down.
As of May 2012 recorded an increase of assets was only 57.1%. While the same period last year growth was 70% compared to the previous year.
Data released today says KBI Jember spots of Islamic banking assets is recorded Rp903 billion in May 2012. "Growing up 57.1% over the same period last year," said Dwi Suslamanto, Deputy Leader of BI Jember Monetary Economics Business in a press release received today (28/06).  (source)
