Jakarta, (3/11). PT Bank Syariah Bukopin (BSB) signed MOU with PT Mega Capital Indonesia in Islamic liquidity management.The signer from BSB is Riyanto as the president Director and signer from Mega Capital is Nany Susilowati as the president Director. The signing ceremony was held in PT. Mega Capital Indonesia office at Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta (3/11).
It is expected from BSB that this mutual agreement between the two institutions has a positive impact and profitable for both parties, which will bring direct and indirect benefit for the Indonesian people which will eventually consider Islamic Finance Industry as their better alternative in term of economic transactions.
Moreover Riyanto said that BSB Performance for the last 3 years (2007-2009) shows a good improvement were the average assets growth is 76% per year, average financing growth 257% per year and deposit growth 179% per year.
As of September 30th, 2010, Deposit increased significantly for 31.92% or become IDR1.514 trillion compare to the same period in the previous year which was only IDR 1.147 trillion.
In the other hands, Financing increase 26.69% to IDR 1.558 trillion compare to previous year which was IDR 1.202 trillion. Total asset is now IDR 2.163 trillion.
In supporting its deposit mobilization, BSB has a variation of products such as Tabungan iB SiAga, Tabungan iB Rencana, Tabungan iB SiAga Bisnis, Tabungan iB Haji. For financing its offer the financing under Murabahah contract for automobile and Islamic mortgage and multipurpose financing as well.
Bank Syariah Bukopin has 41 office branches with breakdown: one main office, 7 branch offices Bandung, Bukittinggi, 2 (dua) in Jakarta, Surabaya, Samarinda, dan Medan; 4 sub branch officers in Kramat Jati Jakarta, Payakumbuh, Tenggarong Kalimantan Timur, and UPI YPTK Padang; 29 Syariah outlets, and 12 ATM and networking with ATM Bank Bukopin, and other ATM such as ATM Bersama, Prima, ALTO, and ATM Plus which scattered nationwide.
