CAPITAL MARKETS - SUKUK - Indonesia sells 6 trln rph sukuk to Haj Fund

JAKARTA, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry on Friday sold 6 trillion rupiah ($672.08 million) of Islamic bonds, or sukuk, to the state-managed Haj Fund via a private placement, said sharia director Dahlan Siamat. (source)


The sukuk, which is not tradeable in the secondary market, has a three-year tenor and 7.85 percent coupon, he said.

Since 2009 the finance ministry has issued 21.469 trillion rupiah of sukuk to the Haj Fund, which is managed by the religious ministry. ($1 = 8,927 rupiah) (Reporting by Aditya Suharmoko; Editing by David Fox)
