BANKING - Bank Muamalat Targets Agriculture Financing at Rp 1.12 Trillion

JAKARTA (IFT) – PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, the first Islamic bank in Indonesia, will target an 800 percent increase in agriculture financing to Rp 1 trillion from Rp 125 billion last year. Luluk Mahfudah, Corporate Director of Bank Muamalat, said that to achieve the target, the company will maximize newly-opened brach offices. As of end 2010, the bank had established more than 360 branches.(source)
