Head of Bank Permata's Sharia unit, Achmad Kusna Permana said that those two new branches will be located in Jakarta while the other one shall be set up in Banjarbaru, South Borneo. “We will add three more branches this year, making the total branch offices to 13 offices,” he said last week. According to him, the branches are added merely to boost the growth in third party fund and financing unit. Besides adding its branch offices, Permata Sharia shall also foster the office channeling with Permata Bank.
“The conventional funding contributed 55% last year, compared to the Permata Sharia,” he said.
For financing unit, he expects the growth to reach IDR2.7 trillion or soared above 55% compared to the previous year at IDR1.6 trillion. “We would like to achieve such target in a diversified manner, thus, it will not be centralized on one credit segment,” he said. (T02/NOM)
