FINANCE - 2 Islamic Banks Signed MOU with Franchise Companies

Jakarta (17/6)-2 Islamic Banks, Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Syariah has signed MoU with franchise companies. Hanawijaya Director of BSM and signed MOU with My Salon Thomas Lee, in the meantime, BNI Syariah represented by it Business Director Bambang Widjanarko signed MOU with 3 frenchise companies,  Coffee Toffee,  PT Harfarm Jaya Makmur, and PT Biru Semeseta Abadi.(source)


The signing ceremony has taken place at Expo International Franchise License and Business Concept (IFRA) 2011. This signing ceremony is facilitated by Bank Indonesia (BI). The Chief of research, development and regulation Biro of Bank Indonesia, Tirta said that this collaboration between Islamic banks and frenchise companies is as evidence that the Islamic banks are very concern for the production sector “this collaboration has proven that Islamic banks are now focus in production sector in order to assist the sufficient development of our economic “explained Tirta.

Furthermore, Tirta said that the frenchise business has the same concept with Islamic bank which is partnership. “With the same concept, we are willing to create partnership between franchise companies and Islamic banks”, explained Tirta. (Ul).
