NASDAQ.COM - JAKARTA -(Dow Jones)- Indonesia has appointed three arrangers for the planned global sukuk, likely to be issued in the third quarter, Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo said Tuesday.

"Investors who are interested in sukuk are specific. Underwriters have given us the indication of investors' interest...I'm optimistic," he said, adding the target remains up to $1 billion with likely issuance in the third quarter.
Earlier this month, two bankers familiar with the matter told Dow Jones Newswires that the government has shortlisted CIMB, HSBC, Standard Chartered and Citigroup as potential arrangers.
