Director of the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) Bihar Sakti Wibowo revealed shariah commodity to be launched after Eid. It is still in talks with the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Board (Bappebti).

He also explained that the fatwa number 82 is given to Islamic banking, but later and retail companies could come into play.

Jakarta (9/8)- Kini berbagai lembaga keuangan maupun perusahaan memiliki alternatif transaksi dalam bursa berjangka komoditi yaitu komoditi berbasis syariah. hal tersebut menyusul  disahkannya fatwa nomor 82 tentang Perdagangan Komoditi Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah oleh Dewan Syariah Nasiona (DSN)-Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI).
Direktur Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (BBJ) Bihar Sakti Wibowo mengungkapkan komoditi syariah akan diluncurkan sehabis lebaran. Pihaknya sampai saat ini masih dalam pembicaraan dengan Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti).
“Mudah-mudahan usai Lebaran nanti bisa kami luncurkan," ujarnya dalam acara Sosialisasi Fatwa MUI Nomor 82 tentang Perdagangan Komoditi Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah, di Hotel Mandarin, Jakarta, Senin (8/8).
Ia mengungkapkan di tahap awal nanti, transaksi perdagangan komoditi berdasarkan prinsip syariah direncanakan melibatkan komoditi kopi baik arabika dan robusta, kakao, serta Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Namun kedepannya kemungkinan BBJ akan melibatkan produk pertambangan seperti metanol, solar, aftur, dan batu bara.
Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa fatwa nomor 82 diberikan untuk perbankan syariah, namun nantinya perusahaan-perusahaan dan ritel pun bisa ikut berperan.
"Awalnya fatwa ini diperuntukkan pada produk perbankan syariah, baru kemudian pada produk korporasi dan ritel," tandasnya.(ul)
