INDONESIA - BANKING - BRI Syariah Posts Finance Portfolio of Rp 7.9 T

JAKARTA (IFT) – PT BRI Syariah, a subsidiary of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) saw a 43.64 percent increase in finance portfolio to Rp 7.9 trillion as of September 2011 from Rp 5.5 trillion in end-2010 (year-to-date). A bulk of the portfolio comprise micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) loans as well as consumer loans.  (source)
