INDONESIA - BANKING - Bank Saudara Acquisition Plan SRB

JAKARTA - PT Bank Saudara  (SDRA) develop sharia business by setting up a fund of Rp 5 billion to acquire three sharia rural banks (BPRS).

"Hopefully, all the processes related to acquisitions completed by the end of 2011," said Director of Business SDRA, Denny N Mahmuradi here on Wednesday(source)


According to him, the company is filing a license to the relevant authorities for the success of the acquisition. The three SRB that was targeted, he added, two were in the area of West Java and one in Central Java. "Looking ahead, the company still will add two more SRB to be acquired," he said.

Director of SDRA, Yanto S Purbo said in 2012 the company expects to have assets of Rp 7.5 trillion. According to him, to boost the acquisition of assets, the company is ready to increase the average loan growth above 40 percent.

Throughout the third quarter of 2011, the company's total assets reached Rp 4.17 trillion or an increase of 28.7 percent when compared with the same period in 2010 amounted to Rp 3.24 trillion. (tk / ant)

JAKARTA - PT Bank Himpunan Saudara 1906 Tbk (SDRA) mengembangkan bisnis syariah dengan menyiapkan dana Rp 5 miliar untuk mengakuisisi tiga bank perkreditan rakyat syariah (BPRS).

"Diharapkan segala proses terkait akuisisi rampung akhir 2011 ini," kata Direktur Bisnis SDRA, Denny N Mahmuradi di Jakarta, Rabu.

Menurut dia, perseroan tengah mengajukan perizinan kepada otoritas terkait untuk menyukseskan akuisisi tersebut. Adapun tiga BPRS yang tengah dibidik itu, lanjutnya, dua berada di wilayah Jawa Barat dan satu lagi di wilayah Jawa Tengah. "Ke depan, perseroan masih akan menambah dua BPRS lagi yang akan diakuisisi," tuturnya.

Direktur Utama SDRA, Yanto S Purbo mengatakan pada 2012 mendatang perseroan berharap memiliki aset sebesar Rp 7,5 triliun. Menurut dia, untuk menggenjot perolehan aset, perseroan siap meningkatkan pertumbuhan kredit rata-rata di atas 40 persen.

Sepanjang kuartal III 2011, total aset perseroan mencapai Rp 4,17 triliun atau meningkat 28,7 persen bila dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun 2010 sebesar Rp 3,24 triliun. (tk/ant)
