INDONESIA - BANKING - Assets Islamic banking up 49 %

Dengan pencapaian tersebut, bank syariah nasional berhasil meraih 4 persen pangsa pasar aset perbankan, atau naik 0,72 persen dari 2010. Pembiayaan bank syariah secara nasional pun mencapai Rp 105 triliun, atau tumbuh 50,6 persen dibanding periode yang sama 2010. Dana pihak ketiga yang bisa dihimpun oleh bank syariah pada 2011 juga naik 51,78 persen menjadi Rp 118 triliun.

Dari total pembiayaan bank syariah, kredit murabahah memiliki proporsi 55 persen. Murabahah meliputi bermacam pembiayaan konsumsi, seperti pembelian mobil, rumah, dan motor. Meskipun tidak ada pemisahan, pembiayaan murabahah dapat digunakan untuk pembiayaan produktif.

Meski mendominasi, jumlah pembiayaan murabahah turun jika dibanding awal tahun 2000-an saat bank syariah muncul pertama kali. Ketika itu murabahah merajai pembiayaan dengan porsi 80 persen. Kini porsi pembiayaan musyarakah dan mudharabah (modal kerja dan investasi) telah mencapai 30 persen, meningkat dari 10 persen ketimbang masa awal kemunculan bank syariah.
