VIVAnews - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia berencana untuk meningkatkan kepemilikan sahamnya di PT Al Ijarah Indonesia Finance (Alif) menjadi mayoritas atau 90 persen. Saat ini, Muamalat menguasai saham Alif sebesar 33,3 persen.

Direktur Kepatuhan dan Manajemen Risiko Bank Muamalat, Andi Buchari, mengatakan, pihaknya telah menyiapkan dana sebesar Rp60 hingga Rp70 miliar untuk meningkatkan saham di Alif tersebut.

"Tapi, ini masih menunggu tahapan yang panjang, karena harus minta izin dari komisaris, dan akan dibahas dalam RUPS Mei mendatang. Setelah itu, baru minta izin Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal dan Lembaga Keuangan," kata Andi di Hotel Mulia, Senayan, Jakarta, Kamis 26 April 2012.

Selain Bank Muamalat, Alif juga dimiliki oleh Bank Boubyan Kuwait dan Alpha Lease and Finance Holding B.S.C (Alpha). Kepemilikan sahamnya tersebar merata, atau masing-masing memiliki 33,3 persen saham.

Andi menjelaskan, jika kepemilikan saham masih merata seperti saat ini, ada kesulitan dalam pengucuran modal. Ke depan, Muamalat akan menerbitkan sukuk dan mencatatkan sahamnya di Bursa Efek Indonesia. (art)
