EDUCATION - RUSSIA - Indonesia will share the experience in the Islamic banking

The Republic of Indonesia invites Russian businessmen to exchange experiences in the field of Islamic banking.

24th of January the Chief of Staff of the Russian Mufties Council Rushan hazrat Abbyasov met with the counselor of the Embassy of Indonesia, Mr. Aji Suraya.

During the meeting the sides discussed areas of cooperation in 2011. In particular, they discussed the question of intensification of relations in education, culture, economics, interfaith relations.(source)

The parties agreed to continue cooperation in the field of Islamic finance and banking. In particular, the Indonesian side proposed to organize a visit of Russian businessmen delegation and bankers to Islamic banks in Indonesia to share experience.

The trip is planned for March and April of this year.
