Bandung, (30/3). In order to fulfill the need of shariah human capital, Bank Indonesia (BI) is continuing to promote Islamic finance transaction to the academicians, considering the demand for shariah human capital is increasing along with the rapid development of Islamic banking system. The promotion is initiated by Shariah Director of Bank Indonesia west java branch office, Mr. Agus Setiawan, participated by 50 representatives from universities in Java regions. (full story)
Furthermore Gunawan Setiawan, said that the obstacle of the rapid growth of our Islamic banking system is the lack of human capital, which in time we will synergies with the universities. Gunawan said the development of Islamic banking system must be in line the large no. of human capital otherwise Islamic banking system will lack behind its counterpart.
In the meantime, the professor from the faculty of economic of Universitas Trisakti, Sofyan Safri Harahap, said that Islamic banking system is in dire need of excellent shariah human capital, which will assist the development of Islamic banking market share, which we must produce trainers that could influence people to use Islamic banking transaction instruments. Sofyan perceived that the excellent shariah human capital is small in no, when there are needed by the Islamic banking system indeed. The college professor should become the icon for promoting the Islamic banking system and produce excellent human capital.[nibra]
