JAKARTA (IFT) – The total net profit of eleven sharia banks and 23 sharia business units peaked at Rp 148 billion in January 2011, rising 78.3 percent from Rp 83 billion YoY, according to Bank Indonesia (BI). Their profits were leveraged by a 47 percent hike in financing, amounting to Rp 69.72 trillion.(source)
