Jakarta, (5/4). in its first anniversary in syariah banking business, Bank Central Asia (BCA) Syariah’s asset that has reached IDR 970 billion which is increased by 30 %.
The President Direktur of BCA Syariah, Yana Rosiana during the ceremony of its first anniversary said that this achievement as a result of its good management direction which is focused in its shariah business development. (full story)
Its asset has growth in several areas such as financing increased by 7% to be IDR 490 billion, while deposits increased by 50% or become IDR 600 billion, with 12 thousand customers based.
“It is expected that this fine result will continue to grow since Islamic banking system in Indonesia is very promising,” said Yana.
In order to support the business development of its shariah banking business, BCA will open 20 more of its branch offices with 3offices will focus on micro financing services which will have easy access to its customers.
Previously, BCA Syariah has 5 commercial branch offices, 3 main offices and 3 offices for shariah banking businesses. Today it has 7 offices for shariah banking businesses.[nibra]
