Theindonesiatoday.com - PT Bank Kesawan Tbk BKSW, 69.59% controlled by Qatar National Bank Group QNB, posted net profit of Rp11 billion in the first half (H1) of 2011, jumped more than fourfold(433%) from Rp2 billion in the same period of last year.
Interest income increased 22.3% to Rp138 billion while net interest income jumped 48.8% to Rp80 billion. Net interest margin (NIM) rose 12% to 5.5%. (source)
The bank booked net operating profit of Rp14 billion, a 479% surge compared to Rp2 billion in the first half of 2010.
As of June 2011, its assets totaled Rp3.28 trillion while liability amounted Rp2.38 trillion. Its capital adequacy ratio(CAR)jumped to 60.3% from previous 11.3% while NPL net dropped 52% to 1.6% from earlier 3.3%.
BKSW is currently priced at Rp730 per share. At this price it has market capitalization of Rp2.6 trillion.
