Earlier,
BNI released its ownership of BNI Securities, leaving only three
subsidiaries under its umbrella, including BNI Life Insurance, BNI
Syariah and BNI Multifinance.
Yap said many investors from around
Asia and the Middle East were interested in acquiring the subsidiaries,
but so far there had been no serious talks.
He added that the bank had not yet decided when it would release its ownerships of the other subsidiaries.
