Theindonesiatoday.com - Indonesia's largest shariah bank Muamalat booked net profit of Rp266.18 billion in the first nine months of 2011, jumped 90% from Rp139.79 billion in the same period of last year.
Operating income profit increased 34% to Rp1.07 trillion from Rp799.84 billion a previous year while operating profit reached Rp254.3 billion, a 78% jump compared to Rp143.09 billion a year earlier.

The bank had total assets of Rp21.4 trillion as of September 2011. The bank's capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to market and credit risks reached 12.36%, declined from 14.53% in September 2010. ( hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
