"Penambahan jaringan kantor ini kami lakukan untuk memacu perolehan dana pihak ketiga (DPK) maupun penyaluran pembiayaan untuk ritel di 2012," katanya dalam konferensi pers, hari ini.
Adrian Gunadi, Direktur Ritel Bank Muamalat, melanjutkan penambahan jaringan kantor baru itu akan difokuskan di daerah Jabodetabek dan luar pulau Jawa. Bank Muamalat saat ini memiliki sekitar 400 kantor layanan di Indonesia dan Malaysia.
Tahun lalu, perolehan DPK bank yang mengklaim sebagai bank syariah pertama di Indonesia itu mencapai Rp26,05 triliun, dengan komposisi tabungan dan giro 40% sementara deposito 60%.
Dari total DPK 2011, dana ritel menyumbang 69,10% atau setara dengan Rp18 triliun. Tahun ini diharapkan bisa naik 40% menjadi sekitar Rp25,2 triliun.
