www.btimes.com.my - KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank Islamic Bhd has unveiled Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Visa Infinite, a card that it claims offers the best one-for-one privileges from flight tickets, dining to golf.

The card, launched at the World Halal Research Summit last week, is for the affluent market of 35-years-old and above with an income of RM240,000 a year.

Maybank Islamic chief executive officer Muzaffar Hisham said the launch is in line with the bank's commitment to empower card members with its suite of privileges that extend from luxury travel to fine dining. (source)

"Despite the intense competition, Maybank Islamic is committed to offer even better benefits not only in Malaysia but also across the region where the Maybank Group operates," said Muzaffar.

In Malaysia, more than 400 Maybank branches and network and 1,000 ATMs support the premium card.

Globally, Ikhwan VISA Infinite ensures cardholders access to instant cash at more than one million VISA and Plus ATMs.

Travel insurance coverage alone is valued up to RM2 million if card members charge their tickets in full to their Ikhwan VISA Infinite.

Card members will also earn TreatsPoints when they spend via the card. They are convertible into Air Miles to redeem free flights and holiday packages in exchange for a host of gifts from the rewards programme offered by the bank.

For every RM1 spent in Malaysia, card members will earn two TreatsPoints, and for RM 1 spent overseas they will earn five TreatsPoints.

Card members can convert their TreatsPoints earned to Enrich Miles, Kris Flyer Miles and Qatar Miles.

They can also enjoy five occasions of complimentary access annually to any priority pass airport lounges worldwide.

The card comes with complimentary Starwood Privilege membership that gives card members a one-for- one dining privilege at hotels such as The Westin, Sheraton, Le Meridian, as well as more than 210 hotels in the Asia Pacific region.

In addition, it gives access to some of the finest golf courses in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, China, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates with complimentary green fees.
