INDONESIA - BANKING - Bank Muamalat allocates IDR50 million to change its logo

www.bisnis.com - JAKARTA: PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk allocated IDR50 billion to change company’s logo, which will be launched at the same time with its 20th anniversary.

Bank Muamalat Finance and Operations Director Dendiarto said as much as IDR35 billion of the funds will be used to advertise the product logo in order to socialize the new logo to public.

Moreover, the company allocated IDR10 billion – IDR15 billion to change logo on the entire branch networks. “Most of the investment fund will be handled by current year financial and the rest in next year,” he told in a press conference today, May 1, 2012.  (source)



Bank Muamalat President Director Arviyan Arifin said the change in logo is a symbol of company’s transformation in the development of service and technology.  “We want to grow into a modern Islamic bank and Islamic modern bank.”

Bank Muamalat Director Andi Buchari explained the new logo is shaped like water drops that reflect freshness, cleanliness, and purity.  “It reflects our service to our customers, whoever they are,” he explained. (T07/aph)
