INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Bonds and Sukuk Mayora Natural Excess Demand

investor.co.id - JAKARTA-The demand for bonds and sukuk mudaraba IV offered by PT Mayora Indah Tbk was oversubscribed by nearly five-fold, following a high investor interest in the two instruments.
Corporate Secretary PT Mayora Indah Tbk, Yuni Gunawan in a written statement received here on Tuesday (24/4) states, a manufacturer of processed foods that offer bonds with a term of seven years and the emission maximum of Rp500 billion.
While sukuk mudaraba sukuk offer is for a period of five years with the emission maximum of Rp250 billion. Bonds and sukuk were issued without a script, while the interest on the bonds and sukuk mudaraba revenue sharing will be paid every three months.  (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Mayora bonds 5 times oversubscribed


www.neraca.co.id - Mayora Indah Tbk PT (MYOR) claims or oversubscribe oversubscribed 5 times over the plan to issue bonds and sukuk mudaraba with a total value of Rp 750 billion. Company Secretary MYOR, Yuni Gunawan, an indication of excess demand for high investor interest in bonds and sukuk offered, "We are delighted with the high interest of investors as indicated by the results of bookbuilding are oversubscribe almost 5 times," he said in Jakarta last weekend.
He also said that interest in bonds and sukuk Mayora mostly domestic investors in detail include insurance companies, pension funds, banks, mutual funds, other institutions and individuals.  (source)

BANKING - Indonesia Targets Persian Gulf to Boost Assets: Islamic Finance

Indonesia's Foreign Ministry and central bank are seeking investment from the Persian Gulf to meet its target of increasing Shariah-compliant banking assets by 35 percent this year.

The delegation may meet officials in the Middle East as soon as this month, with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait the most likely destinations, Mulya Siregar, the Jakarta-based director of Islamic services at Bank Indonesia, said in a May 31 interview. (source)

CAPITAL MARKETS - IDX Prepared to Unveil Its First Shariah Equities Index

The Indonesia Stock Exchange plans to launch its first index of Shariah-compliant companies next week as part of efforts to diversify the country’s investor base and attract more investment from the Middle East.

BANKING - Shariah Banks Look to Farmers In an Effort to Grow Lending

Indonesia’s largest Shariah-compliant banks plan to increase lending to rural areas, where total agricultural loans have doubled over the past five years.

Bank Muamalat Indonesia is seeking to boost lending tenfold outside cities in 2011 after opening 30 new branches last year, said Luluk Mahfuda, head of Islamic corporate banking. BCA Syariah said it would add 15 outlets aimed at small businesses this year. (full story)
