Bank Mandiri would still inject unit PT Bank Syariah Mandiri by September 2011 to support its fast growing business.

Pahala N Mansyuri, CFO of Bank Mandiri, told Detik.com Sunday (July 24), that the capital injection has been planned since early this year as part of the state bank's business plan. Mandiri plans to inject about Rp210 billion into BSM. (source)

The objective of workshop is that it will broaden the participants to understand more about the philosophy, the regulation and the blue print and the risks in developing the and managing Islamic banking system, as well as to understand the practice of strategic decision in general, to understand the duties and responsibilities of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, Shariah Supervisory Boards in managing the Islamic bank as line with Good Corporate Governance. JAKARTA: The remittance using Indonesian Fund (Dana Untuk Indonesia Tercinta/DUIT) scheme of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) reached 400,000 transactions in 2010.
