INDONESIA - BANKING - Bank Mandiri allocates Rp 22.7t during Idul Fitri
Bank Mandiri has allocated a total of Rp 22.7 trillion (US$ 2.6 billion) to meet transaction demand during the Idul Fitri holidays.
Mandiri corporate secretary Sukoriyanto said 60 percent of the fund will be distributed to Greater Jakarta while the remainder would go to Semarang, Surabaya and Bandung. (source)
“The fund allocated for this Idul Fitri increases by 20 percent from last year,” he said as quoted by kontan.co.id.
Bank Mandiri will allocate Rp 1.1 trillion a day for all of its ATMs starting from two weeks before Idul Fitri.
At present, Bank Mandiri has 8,742 automatic teller machines (ATMs). Its system is connected to 30,000 ATMs under the brand ATM Bersama and 21,000 ATM Link across the country.
