INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Launch Islamic Commodity Market

Jakarta (14/10) - The presence of Islamic Commodity exchanges will contribute interconnected economy mean for Indonesia. This was disclosed, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, while giving a speech at the launch of Sharia Commodity exchanges in Jakarta, Thursday (13/10)(source)


"Trading commodities Islamic Indonesia's economy is expected to contribute," said Mari Elka.

He saw the presence of Islamic commodity market can enliven and enhance the expansion of Sharia-compliant instruments for Islamic banks in Indonesia, especially in managing liquidity. It also can boost the economy rill sector.

"We strongly believe and are optimistic that this Islamic commodity products not only bring benefits to Islamic banking. But also the benefits to producers of commodities that can increase their income and ultimately supporting the development of real sector," he said. (Ul)

Jakarta (14/10)- Hadirnya bursa Komoditi Syariah akan memberi kontribusi berarti bagi perkonomian Indonesia. Hal ini diungkapkan Menteri Perdagangan, Mari Elka Pangestu saat memberi sambutan dalam acara peluncuran bursa Komoditi Syariah di Jakarta, Kamis (13/10).
“Perdagangan komoditas syariah diharapkan menyumbang perekonomian Indonesia,” ujar Mari Elka.
Ia melihat hadirnya pasar komoditi syariah ini dapat meramaikan dan meningkatkan perluasan instrumen berbasis syariah bagi bank-bank syariah di Indonesia, khususnya dalam mengelola likuiditas. Selain itu juga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian sektor rill.
"Kami sangat percaya dan optimis bahwa produk komiditi syariah ini tidak saja membawa manfaat kepada perbankan syariah. Namun juga manfaat kepada produsen komoditi yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan mereka dan akhirnya mendukung perkembangan sektor riil,” tandasnya.(ul)
