Jika sepanjang semester I lalu, komposisi pembiayaan syariah di FIF baru 10%, maka di semester II, FIF menargetkan pembiayaan syariah berkontribusi 50% dari total nilai pembiayaan.
Suhartono, Direktur Utama FIF mengakui pihaknya kehilangan pangsa pasar dengan DP di bawah 10% padahal permintaan pasar untuk uang muka (DP) murah terbilang masih tinggi. Tidak ingin pembiayaan motor terus menurun, FIF kemudian mengubah komposisi nilai pembiayaan 50% berasal dari konvensional dan 50% dari syariah. Dari target pembiayaan unit sepeda motor sebanyak 560.000 unit, hampir setengahnya berasal dari syariah.
"Permintaan untuk DP murah di FIF masih tinggi hampir 30%. Karena itu kami berikan pilihan untuk pembiayaan syariah," kata Suhartono semalam, Selasa (31/7).
