INDONESIA - FINANCE - Mandala Multifinance Obtains $ 25 Million Murabaha Syndicated Loan Credit

JAKARTA - PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (MFIN) gain in the form of murabaha syndicated loan of U.S. $ 25 million or about Rp214, 225 billion on 14 November 2011.

According to the Corporate Secretary MFIN Mahrus in a statement here on Tuesday, in the form of murabaha facility is derived from several financial institutions. (source)


The institution is the Islamic Corporation for the Development of Private Sector (ICD) of U.S. $ 10 million, the Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Investment and Export Credit of U.S. $ 5 million, Unit Investment Trust of the Islamic Development Bank U.S. $ 5 million, and Kuwait Finance House of U.S. $ 5 million.

"In this financing, the ICD acts as Mandated Lead Arranger," said Mahrus seyara adding that the loan will be used for working capital sharia units, namely consumer financing in the form of murabaha.

Murabaha loan contract is a term of four years. The target is to finance 25,000 units of new motorcycles. "The bike can be used for commercial transport SMEs," said President Director of Mandala, Harryjanto Lasmana.

This year, Mandala Multifinance target to cut funding, from Rp5, 5 trillion to Rp 4 trillion. This figure increased only slightly from last year's achievement of Rp3, 7 trillion. As of October 2011, the new financing Mandala grew 5% from the same period in 2010 to Rp3, 4 trillion.

More recently, the company obtain credit facilities from nine banks totaling Rp1, 2 trillion, which includes facilities Rp1 trillion from Rp200 billion from conventional and Islamic facility. (gor / ant)

JAKARTA - PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (MFIN) mendapatkan kredit sindikasi dalam bentuk murabahah sebesar US$25 juta atau sekitar Rp214,225 miliar pada 14 November 2011.

Menurut Sekretaris Perusahaan MFIN Mahrus dalam keterangan tertulisnya di Jakarta, Selasa, fasilitas dalam bentuk murabahah ini berasal dari beberapa lembaga keuangan.

Lembaga itu adalah Islamic Corporation for the Development of Private Sector (ICD) sebesar US$ 10 juta, Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Investment and Export Credit sebesar US$5 juta, Unit Investment Trust of Islamic Development Bank US$5 juta, serta Kuwait Finance House sebesar US$5 juta.

"Dalam pembiayaan ini, ICD bertindak sebagai mandated lead arranger," kata Mahrus seyara menambahkan bahwa pinjaman tersebut akan digunakan untuk modal kerja unit syariah, yaitu pembiayaan konsumen dalam bentuk murabahah.

Pinjaman akad murabahah ini berjangka waktu empat tahun. Targetnya, membiayai 25.000 unit sepeda motor baru. "Sepeda motor bisa untuk angkutan dagang pelaku UKM," ujar Presiden Direktur Mandala, Harryjanto Lasmana.

Tahun ini, Mandala Multifinance memangkas target pembiayaannya, dari Rp5,5 triliun menjadi Rp4 triliun. Angka ini hanya meningkat tipis dari pencapaian tahun lalu sebesar Rp3,7 triliun. Sampai dengan Oktober 2011, pembiayaan baru Mandala tumbuh 5% dari periode yang sama 2010 menjadi Rp3,4 triliun.

Baru-baru ini, perseroan mendapatkan fasilitas kredit dari sembilan perbankan senilai total Rp1,2 triliun, yang mencakup Rp1 triliun dari fasilitas konvensional dan Rp200 miliar dari fasilitas syariah. (gor/ant)
