FINANCIAL MARKETS - Indonesia to sell less sukuk to Haj Fund in 2011

JAKARTA, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry plans to sell a lower amount of sukuk or Islamic bonds in private placements to the religious ministry next year, said Dahlan Siamat, sukuk director at the finance ministry, on Friday.

This year, the finance ministry sold 12.78 trillion rupiah ($1.4 billion) to the religious ministry's Haj Fund, latest data shows. ($1 = 9034.500 Indonesian Rupiah) (Reporting by Rieka Rahadiana; writing by Aditya Suharmoko; Editing by Neil Chatterjee)
