FINANCIAL MARKETS - Indonesia to sell less sukuk to Haj Fund in 2011
JAKARTA, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry plans to sell a lower amount of sukuk or Islamic bonds in private placements to the religious ministry next year, said Dahlan Siamat, sukuk director at the finance ministry, on Friday.
This year, the finance ministry sold 12.78 trillion rupiah ($1.4 billion) to the religious ministry's Haj Fund, latest data shows. ($1 = 9034.500 Indonesian Rupiah) (Reporting by Rieka Rahadiana; writing by Aditya Suharmoko; Editing by Neil Chatterjee)

BANKING - Hajj Saving Account is the Primary Business of BSB Bank Bukopin Syariah
Jakarta, (15/11). The potential market for hajj saving account in Indonesia has become a business opportunity for Bukopin Syariah (BSB) and will become one of its primary products. Although it is lack behind from other Islamic banks in offering the hajj saving accounts, the Division head of Product and Business of BSB, Nur Cholis said it doesn’t matter, and he believed that BSB hajj saving account has more advantages compare to the same product from its competitors.

SHARJAH — Sharjah Islamic Bank, or SIB, has announced the launch of 0% profit financing service for Hajj
under the theme “Perform Hajj this year and pay it off over the year with no profit”.

SUKUK - ISLAMIC HAJ FUND - Indonesia sells 2.9 trln rph sukuk to Haj Fund
JAKARTA, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry has sold 2.855 trillion rupiah of government sukuk to the state-managed Islamic Haj Fund through a private placement on Monday, and will use the proceeds to fund the budget deficit.
