INDONESIA - TAKAFUL - Family Takaful Optimistic Premiums Reach $ 1 Trillion

WWW.REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA --- Islamic insurance company, Takaful Family optimitis premium could reach $ 1 trillion at the end of 2012. With these targets, Takaful Family Takaful want to be models in the country.

According to Director of Family Takaful, Trihadi Deritanto, acknowledged that the target was set last year had raised doubts. However, he argues, should be the target of introspection to improve performance.

"If you want to be a role model of Islamic insurance in Indonesia, should dare to dream and do, to Rp 1 trillion (premium) can be realized," he said Takaful Award in a ceremony on Tuesday (8/5). (source)

INDONESIA - AWARDS - CIMB Niaga Syariah Earn 3 award IBLI

www.investor.co.id - JAKARTA - Sharia PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk ranks first in three categories in the Indonesia Bank Loyalty Index (IBLI) 2012.

A press release from CIMB Niaga Syariah received here on Wednesday night, said the three categories are Customer Satisfaction Index (Customer Satisfaction Index), Customer Transaction Index (Index Customer Transaction), and Customer Partnership Index (Index Customer Partnership).

The deal also included a USD 450 million syndicated Murabaha and a USD 350 million equipment purchase from Ericsson funded by AB Svensk Eksportkredit and backed by EKN Sweden's export credit agency. The transaction also included a political risk guarantee from the World Bank Groups' Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.

AWARDS - Permata Bank wins most awards for call center (BRI Syariah)

Permata Bank clinched the most awards in the Call Center Award 2011 organized by Carre-Center for Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty (Carre-CSL), emerging as the winner in three of 17 categories.

“For six months, we have made phone calls to monitor the quality of the call centers in Indonesia,” Carre-Center for Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty CEO Yuliana Agung said Friday.

Permata Bank won in the priority banking, regular credit card and regular banking categories.

Other category winners included BRI Syariah Phone Banking, Commonwealth Comm Center, Astra Credit Companies Call Center and Honda Customer Care. (source)

In a return to the market, having pulled one deal, the Government of Indonesia returned through an SPV called Perusahaan Penerbit SBSN and issued US$800 million of Sukuk al Ijarah to the domestic market. Due to market demand, the size of the deal was increased 200%.
