INDONESIA - BANKING - ISLAMIC BUKOPIN: cash management services strengthened

www.bisnis.com - JAKARTA: PT Bank Syariah Bukopin will strengthen fund management services or cash management by targeting the addition of 10 partner companies, to develop third-party funds and commission-based income.

Riyanto, Managing Director of Bank Syariah Bukopin (BSB), said the company does not target too many in the development of cash management services because it takes time for their implementation.

"In a cash management service that takes time for their implementation. But we are targeting to add 10 more in the company's cash management services, "he said in the opening ceremony together with the mass media, Thursday (09/08/2012).  (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - Cash Withdrawals In Idul Fitri Up 44.2%

JAKARTA (IFT) – Banks’ total cash withdrawal during Idul Fitri grew 44.2 percent to Rp 79 trillion from Rp 54.8 trillion last year, according to data from Bank Indonesia. The cash transactions grew 20 percent compared to the ones in regular days, which was higher than the last year’s growth at 16 percent. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - BI prepares cash for Ramadan and Idul Fitri : Rp 61.36 trillion

JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) estimates money demand during the fasting period of Ramadan and Lebaran in 2011 amounting to Rp61, 36 trillion, an increase of Rp 6, 57 trillion, about 12% over the previous year realization of the need for Rp54, 78 trillion.

BI Deputy Governor Ardhayadi Mitroatmodjo here on Thursday said to meet that need, then the Bank has prepared a national inventory of cash until the end of July for Rp123, 39 trillion, consisting of large denominations of money Rp106, 86 trillion and the money of small denominations Rp16, 53 trillion. INDONESIA - BANKING - Bank Indonesia Prepares Rp 61.36 T Cash for Idul Fitri

JAKARTA (IFT) – Bank Indonesia prepares total fund of Rp 61.36 trillion to meet cash outflow demand during fasting month and Idul Fitri. The fund prepared is 12 percent higher from Rp 54.78 trillion last year.  (source)
