BANKING - BNI Syariah aimed for Retail Customers

Jakarta, (13/10). since its non performance finance (NPF) ratio is low, BNI Syariah is now aim for retail financing, including SME’s for Islamic mortgage and multipurpose financing.

In order to reach such target, the president Director of BNI Syariah, Rizqullah said that it will push forward for retail financing in 2011 to achieve 20% above this year target.

This target can be achieved, considering that financing growth target for 2011 is 20%, or above IDR 4 trillions, from IDR 3.4 trillion. This target aimed for retail customers, by increasing its customer based, from 450 thousands in September 2010 to 550 thousands by the end of next year.

“We are Optimistic that we will achieve such target” said Rizqullah.

Rizqullah said ever since the spin off to a full-fledge Islamic Bank in June 2010, the assets of BNI Syariah is now IDR 6,02 trillion, Deposits IDR 4.7 trillion, financing: IDR 3.4 trillion. (Agus Y/Nibra )
