The State Enterprises Ministry has disbursed People’s Business Credit of up to Rp 26.37 trillion (US$2.96 billion) through six state-owned banks and 13 Regional Development Banks this year.
“It is 131.9 percent of our target of Rp 20 trillion, and the fund has been disbursed to 1,765,255 borrowers,” Deputy for Business Affairs at the State-Owned Enterprises Ministry, Parikesit Suprapto, said on Friday,tempo.co reported. (source)
He said that the credit was disbursed from early this year until Dec. 2.
Most of it was disbursed by Bank Rakyat Indonesia, which lent Rp 12.59 trillion to 1,571,631 micro businesses, and Rp 2.81 trillion to 14,900 retail businesses.
Other banks which disbursed the credit were Bank Mandiri (Rp 3.2 trillion), Bank Negara Indonesia (Rp 2,95 trillion), Bank Tabungan Negara (Rp 750.6 billion), Bank Bukopin (Rp 168.7 billion), Bank Syariah Mandiri (Rp 643.1 billion) and 13 Regional Development Banks(Rp 3.25 trillion).
