INDONESIA - BANKING - Rp 26.37 t of People’s Business Credit disbursed

The State Enterprises Ministry has disbursed People’s Business Credit of up to Rp 26.37 trillion (US$2.96 billion) through six state-owned banks and 13 Regional Development Banks this year.
“It is 131.9 percent of our target of Rp 20 trillion, and the fund has been disbursed to 1,765,255 borrowers,” Deputy for Business Affairs at the State-Owned Enterprises Ministry, Parikesit Suprapto, said on Friday,tempo.co reported.  (source)

INDONESIA - MICRO FINANCE - The realization of KUR regional bank rose Rp1 trillion

JAKARTA: The participation of 13 regional banks in channeling people's business loan program funds (KUR) until 15 November 2011, an increase of around Rp1 trillion more than last year.
The total disbursement of funds overall people's business credit (KUR), which held 13 regional development banks (BPD) from 2010-2011 was recorded at Rp 5, 4 trillion with a total of 69,041 debtors. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - Walah! Growth of Islamic Banking 2012 Predicted Stagnant

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA --- The growth of Islamic banking in 2012 is predicted to not be significant or stagnant. The predictions do not look at government policies that favor the development of Islamic banks this year.In fact, the growth of Islamic banking this year have not been able to offset the amount of market share in Indonesia. "If you look at the condition this year, not too optimistic about the growth of Islamic banks will rise significantly. REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA-Channeling People's Business Credit (KUR) Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) has exceeded the target set in 2011. The distribution of KUR reaches 106 percent of the target of Rp 550 billion on 23 September 2011.

INDONESIA - KUR - Target BRISyariah Financing Rp1, 2 Trillion

INDONESIA - BANKING - KUR - KUR BSM customers amounted to 10 700

Even though only one Islamic bank designated by the government in channeling people's business credit (KUR), teryata customers KUR Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) is not far behind with other banks, where the current number of clients has reached 10,700 clients with financing average average Rp 50 million.

INDONESIA - MICRO FINANCE - Non-Performing Micro Loan Ratio Reaches 2.19%



JAKARTA (IFT) – Average non-performing loan (NPL) for micro loan (Kredit Usaha Rakyat program/KUR) declined 2 basis points to 2.19 percent as of June 2011 from 2.21 percent in January 2011. The NPL is still below the level set by Bank Indonesia at 5 percent, but expected to be maintained by year-end. (source)

INDONESIA - KUR - Micro Loan Portfolio Reaches Rp 17.28 T in July

JAKARTA (IFT) – The total micro loan portfolio through “Kredit Usaha Rakyat” (KUR) from January 1-July 31, 2011 reached Rp 17.28 trillion to 1.18 million debtors. The actual micro loan reached 86.44 percent of the 2011 loan portfolio target of Rp 20 trillion. (source)

INDONESIA - MICRO FINANCE - KUR - "Micro-Credit Loans to Be Raised to Rp25 Trillion": Hatta

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesia plans to raise the amount of KUR micro-credit loans to Rp 25 trillion this year, from the previous Rp 20 trillion figure allocated, top economic minister Hatta Rajasa said over the weekend.

Jakarta:Indonesia's First Lady Kristiani Herawati Yudhoyono on Wednesday criticized state banks over its credit distribution policies, particularly in regard to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). INDONESIA - KUR - Bank Syariah Mandiri channels funds to Micro Small Medium Enterprises

FINANCE - KUR - Mandiri Loans to Microbusinesses Hit Rp 6.5t

Jakarta. Bank Mandiri distributed Rp 6.5 trillion ($721.5 million) in loans to microbusinesses in 2010, 45 percent higher than the previous year, the bank announced in a statement on Sunday.

“Mandiri sees a lot of potential within the micro sector. We want to take a more active role in developing the sector that helps drive Indonesia’s economic development,” said Tardi, Bank Mandiri’s senior vice president for microbusiness development. Mandiri, Indonesia’s largest bank by assets, distributed loans to around 545,000 microbusiness in 2010 with about 4 percent in non-performing loans. The maximum platform of the loan, which is targeted for micro and household businesses, is Rp 100 million.

FINANCE - 2011 Micro Credit Target at Rp20 Trillion

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The government is targeting the disbursement of Micro Credit Support (KUR) in 2011 to total Rp 18-20 trillion, up from Rp16.4 trillion in 2010.

“We are stepping on the gas. Each year the amount is increasing,” State-owned Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar said in Jakarta last weekend.
