Tamwil asked the government to set up as an apex institution regulatory
agencies and inspectors.
Chairman
of the Association of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil Indonesia (ABSINDO) Aries
Muftie said with the apex, Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) are scattered in
the area could operate better.
"With
the apex, more scalable performance and BMT may be more developed.
Absence of functioning as an apex institution to make our activities,
such as financing and distribution of the velocity of money that we
manage, unrecorded and unsupervised," he said on Thursday (5/7) . (source)

CAPITAL MARKETS - SUKUK - Absindo will issue its first Sukuk
Jakarta, (16/8). Based on investor demand, (Absindo) will issue its first sukuk. The chairman of Absindo, Aries Mufti confirmed that ABSINDO will issue sukuk with purpose to strengthen the working capital and networking of BMT which has been connected with Absindo.
“We perceived that sukuk is an effective instrument to raise funds in developing BMT: said Aries.
