INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Indosat Bonds and Sukuk Ijara Issue

www.beritajatim.com - Surabaya (beritajatim.com) - End of May telecommunication operator PT Indosat Indosat Tbk will issue conventional bonds with fixed interest and Sukuk Ijarah. The number of bonds and sukuk to be offered to the market of Rp 2.5 trillion.
This was disclosed by Djarot Handoko, Head of Communication Division of PT Indosat Tbk, in a test network in Jakarta, Tuesday (04/17/2012). Now Indosat has appointed five underwriters, namely PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia, PT Danareksa Securities, PT HSBC Securities Indonesia, PT Mandiri Securities, and PT Standard Chartered Securities Indonesia. "This is the first time we issue bonds and sukuk since being in the shade of Qatar Telecom. Where the later period of maximal bond holdings and sukuknya about 10 years," said Djarot.  (source)
