www.bernama.com - KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk (BII) has approved the appointment of Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli as the new President Director/Chief Executive Officer and Ani Pangestu as the Human Capital Director of the bank.
Khairussaleh is also a Chief Financial Officer of Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) Group, BII said in a statement. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - Malaysia's Maybank appoints UBS to sell stake in Indonesia's BII
www.brecorder.com - JAKARTA: Malaysia's biggest lender by assets Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has appointed UBS to handle the stake sale of its banking unit PT Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII), its chairman said on Monday.
Maybank is required by the Indonesian capital market regulator Bapepam-LK to sell down its stake in BII to at least 80 percent from 97 percent currently. It has so far managed to sell 0.5 percent of its stake in the open market. (source)

INDONESIA - BANKING - BII Renamed to Maybank Indonesia
Theindonesiatoday.com - Shareholders of PT Bank International Indonesia (BNII), a subsidiary of Maybank, had approved on the annual general meeting (AGM) today the name change of BII to PT Maybank Indonesia Tbk.
The AGM had also appointed Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli as new president director of Maybank Indonesia and Ani Pangestu as director for human resources.
Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli had earlier acted as Financial Officer of Maybank Group since November 2008. He had worked for Public Bank Group, one largest bank in Malaysia, for 7 years (1990-1997) di Public Bank Group, salah satu bank terbesar di Malaysia. (source)
