JAKARTA: PT Bank BNI Syariah seeks opportunity to provide working
capital amounting to IDR200 billion for the state-owned PT PLN Batam in a
guaranteed-financing program. Besides, the bank expects to gain fees
from other partnership programs with the electricity company.
The sharia unit of the state-controlled PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk is
targeting an income from the payment which is charged on deposits of
newly upgraded electricity subscribers in Batam amounting to IDR150
