FINANCE - KUR distribution reaches IDR14.44 trillion

JAKARTA: State-owned banks' distribution for People’s Business Credit (KUR) have reached IDR14.44 trillion on December 15, 2010, or 93% from the year-end revised target of IDR15.4 trillion.

Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Mustafa Abubakar stated that PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) was the biggest credit distributor with IDR8.91 trillion.

“KUR distribution is fairly good as we have broken into IDR14.4 trillion or 93% from our revised target of IDR15.4 trillion. Initially we targeted only Rp13.1 trillion by the end of this year, but it already exceeded,” he said, today.

Besides BRI, the coalition of 13 Regional Development Banks (BPD) also has distributed IDR1.88 trillion, followed by PT Bank Mandiri Tbk with IDR1.61 trillion and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) with IDR803 billion.

Next, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) with IDR615 billion, PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Tbk with IDR402 billion and PT Bank Bukopin Tbk with IDR108 billion. Abubakar was optimistic they could meet the final target of IDR15.4 trilion. (T05/NOM)
