Once in Palembang and Yogyakarta 2010, the MES in cooperation with Bank Indonesia (BI), the Association of Islamic Economics (IAEI) and Forum Gathering and Islamic Economic Studies (FOSSEI), will be held FRPS IAIN 2011 in North Sumatra and Padjadjaran University. INDONESIA - EVENTS - Forum Riset Perbankan Syariah

Jakarta - Following the successful implementation of the Research Forum of Islamic Banking in Palembang and Yogyakarta in 2010, MES, BI, IAEI and FoSSEI will hold Islamic Banking Research Forum (FRPS) in 2011 twice , with the theme "Enhancing Quality and Competitiveness of the Banking Industry Welcoming the National Sharia Era ASEAN Economic Community (MEA). 

This year the host campus is IAIN Sumatera Utara on September 29 to 30 and the Padjadjaran University in December 2011. 

Executive Director of the Society for Islamic Ekonomy (MES) Achmad Ikbal stated, "This forum is part of an effort to overcome the problems in the development of sharia banking in Indonesia ".
