JAKARTA - the second largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah, decided to put all their funds in Islamic banking as a follow-up fatwas usurious interest rates of conventional banks. Islamic banks are appointed to manage the funds (cash management) as much as seven Muhammadiyah.
"We chose these seven banks after a fatwa from the Legal Affairs Committee of Muhammadiyah that bank interest is usury and usury is forbidden.
