INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Limit of Project Sukuk SBSN set at Rp 1,0 trillion

www.bisnis.com - JAKARTA: The government sets a limit on issuance of Islamic Countries (SBSN) for project financing in 2013 amounted to R1, 0 billion.

Financial Notes and Draft Budget 2013, the government will seek to accelerate impementasi sukuk issuance to finance the project.

"For fiscal year 2013, the government set a maximum issuance SBSN Project Rp1, 0 trillion.

SBSN issuance limit is prepared for a period of 1 year budget, "the government said in a Memorandum of Finance and Budget 2013. (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia raises 460 bln rph in sukuk auction

www.reuters.com - (Reuters) - Indonesia raised 460 billion rupiah ($48.65 million) from a sukuk auction on Tuesday, lower than a target of 500 billion rupiah, the debt office said.
The country only sold 25-year project-based sukuk at a weighted average yield of 6.69 percent. There were no winning bids for one-year sharia T-bills and six-year, 10-year as well as 15-year project-based sukuk.  (full story)

INDONESIA - FINANCE - Indonesian Govt to Put Idle Hajj Funds in Development Bonds

www.thejakartaglobe.com - The government plans to reallocate dormant hajj funds from the Finance Ministry into project-based sukuk in order to help raise money for urgently needed infrastructure development.

Project-based sukuk are Shariah-compliant government bonds backed by infrastructure projects.

“Now [the money] is merely entrusted to the Finance Ministry. But it would be better if it generated revenue from projects,” said Anggito Abimanyu, director general of hajj pilgrimage management at the Religious Affairs Ministry, adding that his institution managed Rp 44 trillion ($4.7 billion) in pilgrimage funds.  (source)

INDONESIA - IDB - Islamic Development Bank approves $1 billion in projects across 20 countries

www.cpifinancial.net - The 284th meeting of the Board of Executive Directors of the Islamic Development Bank, which convened at IDB headquarters starting Sunday 16 July, under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, President, IDB Group, approved more than $ 1,158 million towards development projects financing for IDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries.

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Government to Issue Sukuk Project Rp 1.5 Trillion in 2013

www.ibpa.co.id - JAKARTA (IFT) - The government plans to issue sukuk project (project financing sukuk) Rp 1.5 trillion in 2013 to finance an infrastructure project. Dedy Supriyadi Priyatna, Deputy of Infrastructure Ministry of National Development Planning, said the proceeds from the issuance of sukuk to finance the construction of double track railway project Cirebon along the 158 kilometer-Kroya.
Construction of double track railway will be made on 2013-2014. The Government will issue sukuk in 2013, the infrastructure and its use will be divided in two years. Sukuk issuance is still subject to finalization and approval of the Ministry of Finance. "We will also propose some infrastructure projects to be funded with sukuk after 2013," said Dedy, Monday.  (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Government Auction Sukuk Rp1 Trillion

www.investor.co.id - JAKARTA - The government will sell securities in Islamic countries (SBSN) or sukuk countries through an auction on June 26, 2012 with a total indicative Rp1 trillion.
Written statement of the Directorate General of Debt Management, Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, said the sukuk sale of the country to meet part of the national budget financing target in 2012.
There are four series of the sukuk to be auctioned is PBS001, PBS002, PBS003, and PBS004. Four series of project-based sukuk is the resale of the state budget.
PBS001 maturing February 15, 2018 in exchange for 4.45%. PBS002 maturing January 15, 2022 in exchange for 5.45%. PBS003 maturing January 15, 2027 in exchange for 6.00%. While PBS004 maturing February 15, 2037 in exchange for 6.10%. (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia raises 800bn rupiah sukuk, yield falls

www.brecorder.com - JAKARTA: Indonesia's government raised 800 billion rupiah ($85.06 million) of project-based sukuk in an auction on Wednesday, slightly below its target, the finance ministry said.The six-year project-based sukuk was at a yield of 5.92188 percent, down from 6.14266 percent in an auction last month, belying a recent trend of rising yields in government debt auctions amid global investor nerves over risky assets.  (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - ISLAMIC BOND: Government postpones bond issuance to 2013

www.bisnis.com - JAKARTA: The government announced plan to postpone issuance of Islamic bond (sukuk) for financing project from second semester 2012 to 2013.


Dahlan Siamat, Director of Sharia Financing at Directorate General of Debt Management of Ministry of Finance, said the plan to issue sukuk, or project financing sukuk, has not been included in the revised State Budget (APBNP) in 2012 which was passed last March.


"I think project financing is rather difficult. It is impossible to be issued this year, maybe next year, because it must be approved by the House first," Dahlan said here on Tuesday (17/04/2012).  (source)

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Sukuk set to finance development projects

Jakarta: Directorate General of Debt Management, Ministry of Finance plans to add a special state securities instruments to finance development projects included in the budget.
Waluyanto, Director General of Debt Management, MoF said that during this, the government only publishes Islamic government securities as underlying instruments project.
However, next year the government set the issuance of sukuk to fund projects in the State Budget (Budget) or known as sukuk based project financing. (source)

Government officials leave today for a series of meetings with overseas investors to gauge their interest in an offering of Islamic bonds, or sukuk.

INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Sukuk for projects

JAKARTA: For the first time the government will issue state securities sharia (SBSN / sukuk countries) based project with an indicative target of Rp500 billion.

The plan, the government will hold a premiere auction two series of sukuk berberbasis country project on Tuesday next week. Two series of sukuk country is PBS-0001 are due 15 September 2017 and the PBS-0002 are due 15 September 2032. (source)

CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia's fin ministry delays sales of sukuk to June 28

JAKARTA, May 24 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry has delayed the sale of its first project-based sukuk to June 28 from May 31, a senior debt official said on Tuesday.
