INDONESIA - CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia aims to issue project-based sukuk in H1

uk.finance.yahoo.com - JAKARTA, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Indonesia plans to issue 2 trillion rupiah ($223.59 million) of project-based sukuk in the first half of this year, the finance minister said on Tuesday, after the country failed to sell the sukuk last year as investors asked for higher yields.

The Islamic instrument was first offered in October last year, only to see weak investor appetite due to the country's shallow sukuk market. (source)

CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia to issue first infrastructure-based sukuk

JAKARTA, May 5 (Reuters) - Indonesia's government plans to sell its first project-based sukuk this month to continue providing sharia instruments, as it runs out of assets to guarantee regular sukuk issues and seeks to fund infrastructure. 

The government aims to sell 1 trillion rupiah ($117 million) of sukuk on May 31 backed by 1,066 infrastructure projects such as roads worth 20.9 trillion rupiah, said Dahlan Siamat, sharia director at the finance ministry. (full story)

CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia raises 500 bln rph in sukuk auction, yield up

 JAKARTA, April 26 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry on Tuesday sold 500 billion rupiah ($58 million) of 25-year sukuk in an auction, as targeted, to help cover this year's state budget deficit. 

The 25-year sukuk yield rose to 9.42064 percent, from 9.25 percent in the previous auction early this month. The ministry received total offers of 1.703 trillion rupiah. (full story)

CAPITAL MARKETS - Indonesia to sell 2 trln rph sukuk to Haj Fund

JAKARTA, Feb 21 - Indonesia's finance ministry plans to sell 2 trillion rupiah of sukuk in March to the state-managed Islamic Haj Fund via a private placement, debt office chief Rahmat Waluyanto said on Monday.

The sale comes after a placement of 6 trillion rupiah this month to the fund, which is managed by the religious ministry. The sukuk are not tradeable on the secondary market. ($1 = 8857.5 Rupiah) (Source)
